Terms and conditions
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms apply to every project we take on. They are written in plain English on purpose — you should be able to read them once and know exactly what you are agreeing to.
1. Who we are
HD Web is a brand of Diaspora Digital Connect LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United Arab Emirates:
- Licence no. 2537637.01, issued by Sharjah Media City (Shams)
- Registered office: Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
- Manager: Marian Crinut Horj
- Email: info@highdefinitionweb.com
In these terms, we means Diaspora Digital Connect LLC trading as HD Web, and you means the person or company that orders work from us.
2. What we do
- Websites — design, build and launch, in one or more languages.
- AI avatar video — presenter clips produced with a digital presenter, for websites and social pages.
- Systems — databases, admin panels, bookings, forms and the work behind a site.
- 360° tours, delivered as part of a website.
3. How a project runs
- You tell us what you need. We look at what you have online today.
- We send you, in writing, what we would build, how long it takes and a fixed price. Nothing starts before you accept it.
- You pay the deposit through a payment link. We start work.
- You get a private preview link and tell us what to change.
- When you approve it, you pay the balance and the site goes live.
Everything agreed in writing — by email or through the contact form — counts as part of the agreement. A preview link is for checking the work; it is not a licence to publish or reuse the files.
4. Price, payment and refunds
- Prices are fixed per project, in euro (EUR), and you know the figure before any work begins. We do not publish prices, because every project is scoped separately.
- Payment is made online through Stripe payment links — any bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your card details.
- A deposit is paid when the project starts; the balance is paid once you have seen and approved the work, before it goes live.
If you stop the project. You may stop at any time. The deposit is not refunded — it pays for the work already done — and you owe nothing further. The files and the site are not handed over.
After delivery. Because you see and approve the work before paying the balance, amounts paid are not refunded once the project is delivered. If you find a mistake we made against what you gave us, we fix it free of charge.
Consumers. What we deliver is digital content made to your instructions. By accepting at the payment step you ask for immediate delivery and accept that, once the work is delivered, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal, as far as the applicable law allows.
If something goes wrong with a payment, write to us first. We sort it out faster than a bank dispute does.
5. Delivery and revisions
- The timeline is agreed per project and stated together with the price. It starts when we have everything we need from you — text, photos, logo, access.
- Changes during the build are included until you approve the work.
- Changes after the site is live are new work, quoted separately, unless they are covered by a care plan.
- If we are waiting on you for more than 60 days, we may close the project. The deposit stays, and restarting is quoted as new work.
6. Hosting, domain and third-party accounts
- Your site is hosted on your own Netlify account, with your own card, and the domain is registered in your name. You are never locked to us.
- We set those accounts up with you, or on your behalf if you ask, but they remain yours.
- We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or price changes at Netlify, a domain registrar, a payment provider or any other third party.
7. Who owns what
- Once the final payment clears, the delivered site, its code and its content are yours, without a time limit and without royalties.
- Fonts, stock photography, icons and 360° imagery come with their own licences. We list them on delivery and only use material that may be used commercially.
- We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio and on our social pages. Tell us in writing if you would rather we did not, and we will not.
- Our own reusable code, tools and building blocks stay ours.
8. AI avatar video
- These clips are made with a digital presenter — there is no camera and no filming.
- European rules require content generated this way to be marked as such. We deliver the clips with that marking, and you are responsible for keeping it when you publish them.
- If you want a clip with your own face or voice, you must hold the rights to them and confirm in writing that you agree to their use.
- We do not create an avatar of a real person without that person's consent, and we do not produce clips that put words in the mouth of someone who has not agreed to it.
- You are responsible for the claims made in the script you approve.
9. Systems and your data
- A system we build for you — the database, the records, the files inside it — belongs to you.
- Where a system stores data about your own customers, you are the data controller for that data and we act on your instructions.
- We build with access rules switched on and tested, we keep secrets out of the browser, and we do not log your customers' personal data.
- You are responsible for using the system lawfully and for telling your own customers what you do with their data.
10. Monthly care plan
A care plan is optional and separate from building the site. It covers hosting supervision, updates, backups, support and small changes agreed in advance. It does not cover new pages, new features or a redesign — those are quoted as new work.
- It is billed monthly, in advance.
- Either of us may end it with 30 days' written notice. The month already paid for is not refunded.
- When it ends, you keep the site, the domain, the hosting account and everything in them. Nothing is switched off.
11. What we do not do, and the limits of our responsibility
- We are not lawyers, accountants or tax advisers. Nothing we write is legal, tax or financial advice.
- We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales. We build the site properly; what the market does with it is outside our control.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the text, prices, photos and claims you give us, and for holding the rights to them.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the project in question.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not remove the protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
Before anything formal, write to us. Almost everything is solved in one conversation.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one published on the day you accepted the quote.
