Privacy policy

What we do with your information, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it — under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

Diaspora Digital Connect LLC, trading as HD Web — licence no. 2537637.01, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, manager Marian Crinut Horj.

For anything about your data, write to info@highdefinitionweb.com.

2. What we collect

  • What you send through the contact form — your name, your business name, your email, your phone number if you give it, what you need, your current website, and your message.
  • Project material — text, photos, logos, price lists and anything else you send us so we can build what you ordered.
  • Access details you choose to share so we can set up hosting or a domain for you. We ask for the least we need, we never ask for your bank credentials, and we tell you when access is no longer needed.
  • Payment information — the amount, the date and the confirmation. Card details are handled by Stripe alone; we never see them.
  • Technical data — our host records things like IP addresses in its server logs, for security. We do not use them to profile anyone.

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this website, so there is nothing else being collected in the background.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your message and to quote on what you asked for — your request, before any contract.
  • To build and deliver what you ordered — performing the contract with you.
  • To take payment and issue the receipt or invoice — contractual and legal obligations.
  • To keep a copy of your project, so a later change does not mean sending everything again — our legitimate interest and yours.

We do not sell your data, we do not put you on a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.

4. Who else sees it

  • Netlify — hosting for this website, and the inbox for the contact form.
  • Stripe — payments, when you pay for a project.
  • Our email provider — the messages between us.
  • Supabase — only when your project includes a database we build for you.

That is the whole list. Each of them processes data on our instructions, under their own data-processing terms.

5. Data outside Europe

Our company is in the United Arab Emirates, and some of the services above are run by companies in the United States. Your data may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, it is covered by the standard contractual clauses or the equivalent safeguards those providers publish, and we keep the amount of data that travels to the minimum the work needs.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that lead nowhere — deleted after two years.
  • Project material and correspondence — kept while we work together, and for two years after the last project, so a later change is easy.
  • Invoices and payment records — kept as long as accounting law requires.

After that, we delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, limit what we do with it, send it to you in a portable form, or object to use based on our legitimate interest. One email is enough, and we answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country — in Romania, ANSPDCP; in Italy, the Garante; in Germany, your state authority; in Greece, the HDPA; in Spain, the AEPD.

8. This website and cookies

  • No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising scripts. We do not know who visits, and we are not trying to find out.
  • No third-party requests. The fonts are hosted on this site, not loaded from Google. Nothing on these pages sends your IP address to another company.
  • The demo websites and 360° tours on this site are self-contained and set nothing either.
  • The contact form sends what you typed to our form inbox at Netlify and to our email. It sets no cookie.

That is why you see no cookie banner here: there is nothing to ask you about. If we ever add statistics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

9. When we build a system for you

If your project includes a database — bookings, accounts, orders, enquiries from your own customers — then you are the controller of that data and we act on your instructions as a processor. We build with row-level access rules switched on and tested, we keep secret keys on the server and out of the browser, and we do not log your customers' personal data. You remain responsible for telling your own customers what you do with their data.
